Sudden Deaths! Bajan says: “I Don’t Want to Die Yet”

BARBADOS (Naked Departure) — SUDDEN DEATHS — Naked, I am a very sickly woman, I am not shame to say.  I have to attend hospital on a regular basis.  Lately I realized medical care has changed for the worst.  Why I say this?  Testing, X-ray, medication, every thing has stopped.  That’s why people are dying.

Look, I have a chronic disease and the meds I have to be on and the blood tested I have to have done on a regular basic to make sure every thing is ok.  I have not had my tests done in mouths.  I have to have heart test done yearly this is three years I have been waiting for a stress test and I don’t remember the name as I write but one is on a treadmill and the other is when the doctor is pressing this thing to your chest and reading the computer.  Please excuse me.  The blood test when you go to get them done they say they would call and two mouths no call.  When I call they say they don’t have the resources to do the tests.  I had to get an X-ray and that machine has been broken too.

I am unfit medically.  I receive welfare.  I can’t pay for them and is ask to buy my medicine which cost two hundred dollars.  When you call the department asking about your tests they tell you call de minister or Mr James.

That’s why people dropping dead.  Last year people had sickness and they was not this mass drop dead syndrome.  They saying people eating pork and unhealthy food but that not it.  People was eating unhealthy for years.

Radio and TV stations were told to stop reporting on the sudden deaths on the island for fear of the run away of the US dollars.  Naked, I don’t want to die yet but how things looking in my treatment it’s frightening.    Anonymous

  1. Didn’t the Minister of finance drastically cut back funding for the QEH and the Policlinics? They expect what is happening to happen.

Those breakfasts, lunches and seminars at the Hilton Just might be a form of paying back the Government for loans they might not be paying to the NIS and will go down as a write-off.

  2. If you sick in Barbados and don’t have money you going to die, imagine you go to the Polyclinic with excruciating abdominal pains and they give you an appointment for an Ultrasound test three (3) months away, my only conclusion is that they hope you die by then, My Aunt went QEH with chest pain one night they gave her pain killers sent she back home, woman came back home had a massive heart attack and died. If you need an operation you get put on a waiting list for a year, but if you have money can get same operation next week. Health care in Barbados dread, If you have cancer hospital director say why spend money on you, when you going to die any how, I hope when Dexter James time come the same thing is said to him. The Generic cheap drugs help killing you off also. Don’t get sick in Barbados unless you have money. Seek a good herbalist if you get sick.

Well they can keep telling Lie’s to who ever want to believed the Criminal’s, I for Sure no all the Cheap drug’s from India and Guatemala are Contributing to the Medical Carnage in Barbados, their Goal is to eradicate the Poor Population that them and their Rich White Friend’s can have Barbados for themselves, my advise to you is to seek an herbalist, you have nothing to loose,if. You sit like a duck and Wait on the Government you would surely die.Get back to the Old remedies we were brought up on and forget about these inferior drug’s. Bajan to the boneiiii

    1. Minister of health John Boyce and CEO of the Queen Elizabeth hospital Dexter James needs to stop spending so much time on the golf course each week and do the work the taxpayers are paying them for.
