BARBADOS (Naked Departure) — Naked, the western diet is killing us Bajans. Since we have moved into a twentieth century way of thinking we have started to consume more food than ever. We have become addicted to the things we mostly place in our mouths and this happens to be junk food or food which has no nutritional benefits to our bodies.
On a daily basis I see people just consuming and lining up at fast food restaurants island wide to buy that which has no profit. The evidence is there throughout Barbados with many small children being obese and men who are having a lot of medical issues and women alike due to this new standard of eating. We are indeed becoming a very sick nation and this too is showing due to our actions and lack of empathy we now display for each other.
Could GMO’s/generationally modified organism be altering our bodies and thinking process? It’s lead to believe that the correlation between food, mind and body goes together like hand in glove. Basically the old saying of “we are what we eat “is now serving to be a very interesting concept.
Since we have began to eat more of the Kings meat we have lost our vision as a nation of people. We have become way more docile and ignorant of the things which are right in front of us.
When one examines the rasta brethren these people eat a particular way and always has a level of consciousness beyond the normal populous but they are seem as ignorant and backwards for not going along with mainstream ideologies. The way we are now feasting can’t be ignored and we are slowly killing ourselves and destroying our temples.
We are consuming large amounts of soy and this is leading to the thyroid dysfunction in many of our women and the evidence is there with many women I see who have overly large necks. Also soy produces high levels of estrogen in the body, leading to never ending weight issues along with hormone dysfunction.
We are suffering from weak digestive systems because the food we are eating are foreign to our chemical make up and our digestive systems cannot tolerate this. This is why we are having food intolerances, allergies etc due to digestive systems being compromise with crap and making us sick.
People are dropping down in Barbados and no one knows. But have any Rastas drop down as yet? Could it just be that our western food system have caught up with us and all these chemicals we are injesting on a daily basis is the number #1 cause for many of the health issues throughout this country. When one reads the labels of these beautiful pack goods, do you know what you are eating? I ask you brothers and sisters to go and get tested for the metals in your body and many of you will be shock at the results. We are slowly being poisoned. Anonymous
