BARBADOS (Naked Departure) — JAMAR SCOTT was nobody and didn’t come from nowhere!! Naked, have these animals in the insurance companies in Barbados no compassion, no empathy? Have the animals for employers no sympathy for their employees when they are injured on the job? Is there no burn unit at QEH and If not, shouldn’t this young man been airlifted immediately for better treatment at a specialized burn unit outside of Barbados so he would have a chance at survival to raise his son? Were they all just waiting for him to die, no matter how long it took, so they would not have to spend the money to save his life? They are a bunch of animals who will suffer worse fates.
And what about your ministers — the ones who are millionaires. Did not ONE minister step forward to help Jamar? So, in essence, he was just left there to die like a stray dog?! Jamar was a poor, black man. Jamar did the work someone low on the totem pole would do. Jamar really did not count. Jamar was not important. He was nobody and he came from nowhere! Death, jail or a lowly job/life of sex and bastard children — welcome to Barbados black man!
The (stupid) Americans specialize in such cases (Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami) and if Barbados had one good minister living on that island, Jamar would have had a fair chance of survival.
And in his death, his brothers dare not call the name of the insurance company they feel is responsible for the denial of coverage necessary for Jamar’s care. Because of Jamar’s death, nothing will change in Barbados. Jamar was nobody!
And, to Barbados Today’s staff, the country located in South America is COLOMBIA, not Columbia as you insist on misspelling.
