BARBADOS (Naked Departure) — Naked, why is it that we are being drilled into believing that Barbados is experiencing drought conditions which in truth, a dry patch or field cannot be found and calls are being made for a national de-bushing clean-up of the island? and rain everyday along with weather systems constantly affecting us.
WHY is that the rural parishes of Barbados are the ones which are adversely affected with water woes with some expressing nine (9) months of dry taps yet being presented with water bills?
WHY is it that it took the call of the PM to move BWA into action at least to send some water to distraught customers?
IS IT TRUE that eleven (11) desalination plants are on the cards for Barbados?
WHY was certain key water wells closed in the northern parishes and reasons being given are that pumps in these areas are constantly problematic? Can they not be replaced and resolve low water pressures?
WHY was there a change of water meters to nanotech meters?
WHY IS IT that customer service notifications do not reflect the brevity of the water woes island wide?
WHY don’t the commercial and hotel establishments seem not to experience the “effects of drought”?
ARE THESE ANSWERS KNOWN and “a means to an end”.
…When a narrative (“drought”) is repetitive whether true or false, it will eventually become a mentally established belief, NOT a truth …Let it be known that we are NOT in a drought! …Our rural areas are being hit hard, St Lucy being the first, well, as you have NOW seen a desalination plant has been established in ST. LUCY…why? …TWO MARINAS have been established along our northern shores, they have brought the salt water inland, our AQUIFERS sits along the shorelines, HAS THE AQUIFERS BEEN COMPROMISED?, hence
BRACKISH WATER and the closure of the well (EAST OF THESE MARINAS) at St. Joseph Hospital grounds in St. Peter? As well as the WELL at Alleynedale St. Lucy. IS this a corrective measure?
ANY TAMPERING OF WATER OTHER THAN BY NATURAL FILTRATION REDUCES ITS QUALITY.
DESALINATION PLANTS ….https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barbados_Water_Authority
1. SPRING GARDEN, St.Michael
2. The HOPE, St. Lucy.
WHY + WHEN = WHO.
Today (28/9/2016) is day # 4 without a drop of water from my tap and tropical storm MATTHEW IS 90 MILES OFF SHORE. TO DATE no response/connection with BWA nor has any water-tankers been to our area for residents to store-up water.
We will not forgive we will not forget. Anonymous
