No search for Anthony Denny

BARBADOS (Naked Departure) — ANTHONY DENNY — Naked,  now after reading this article everyone will realize how prevalent racism is in Barbados (Little England).  After reporting that her husband is missing on the beach here is what the Barbados Police tells the lady:

“Trina said she followed police instructions to wait until sunrise to begin a search party.”

trina-dennyNow if that was a white person who was missing the Barbados Police, the Barbados Defense and 290,000 bajans would not have waited until “sunrise” to search for the person because a search party would have been engaged immediately to look for this “white person”, and the local media would have informed the entire Caribbean that “a person is missing” after a fishing trip to a beach in Barbados…. which was nicknamed Little England by the British.

Little England…  This was the name give to Barbados during the early days, because of all the Caribbean islands Barbados was the only island that had its nose all the way up England’s ass… and still does to this very day.

I say this is RACISM because the bajans have not even realize that racism is smacking them dead in the face AGAIN as ALWAYS!

Nearly everyone can remember some months ago the huge search that was staged by the Barbados Police, the Barbados Defense Force and nearly every white Bajan along with the rest of the 95% black population when a white woman went missing in Barbados.  You even had white people threatening black folks with bodily harm if this “white woman” was not found very quickly.

anthony-dennyNow a black man goes missing on the beach and his family is told by the Barbados Police to wait until sunrise the next day to search for the person.  But what is ironic about this incident is that the Barbados Police did not even start a search at sunrise for the missing man, the lady is the one who finds the body at sunrise!

During the “white lady search” months ago I asked the Barbados Police Public Information Officer (PIO ) (at that time) if something like this had happened to black Bajan would the island see a search of this magnitude?  His response was “yes Barbadians would have responded the way the residents of the island is responding now.

But “now” this time the residents weren’t even informed by the Police or the local media that there was a black man missing from a fishing trip to the beach.   Anonymous

  1. Eyce ! You still don’t make any sense to me . . .

    I am am E.X U S Marine Sgt. ( MOS 2111 ) who has been involved in many SAR missions . 2 tours or Iraq 2 tours of Afghanistan . You sound ignorant and YES it would have been a different situation if the person was WHITE.

    A RESCUE HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE TIME OF DAY OR NIGHT ! A RESCUE MEANS ,SAVING ONE’S LIFE! TIME DOESN’T MATTER’S ! IT’S CALLED AN EMERGENCY ! LET ME GIVE YOU AN EXAMPLE ! IF THE PERSON WAS A POLICE OFFICER OR A SOLDIER ! THOSE SECURITY AGENCY’S WOULD HAVE DISPATCHED SECURITY PERSONNEL TO THE SAID AREA WITH HASTE ! TO FIND THE OFFICER OR SOLDIER ! THE FACTOR HERE IS SAVING LIFE! NOT TIME.

    1. Yes the can dispatch people but then do what? what type of boat could they launch next to those rocks…who was going to risk their lives swimming in that area during the dark? do you all really think about what you are saying…would you have jumped into that dark ocean at that time of the nite? if your answer is no then why should someone else risk their life in that situation…the sea has no back door…and there is a big difference between a rescue on land than one in the water…dark water at that…

  4. Another lesson in Racism bajans . . . . the Barbados today newspaper is giving this description of a missing black man ;

    Description : { Cumberbatch has a dark complexion and is five feet, seven inches in height. He has thick eyebrows, a large nose, big ears and has black and grey hair on his head and moustache. He is also bow-legged }

    That description is a total INSULT to the black human race. . . . that’s the way the British taught bajans how to describe their own black people . the British would never HAVE used the adjectives DARK COMPLEXION , LARGE NOSE , BIG EARS to describe one of their people.

    Not even in the USA would they have used that degrading description . . . . .but they say things like that in LITTLE ENGLAND.

  5. Eyce ! You are the silly person , the comment is not silly so let me educate you . . .

    One of the main missions of the U S Coast Guard ( and any other Coast Guard ) is search and rescue ( S A R ) which means that a search and rescue operation is immediately activated the moment a distress call is received . And YES an SAR should have been set into action the moment the lady made the call about her missing husband.
    I was on Miami Beach , Florida approx. Three ( 3 ) weeks ago when Miami Marlins baseball pitcher José fernandez was killed in a boating accident while approaching the entrance to ” government cut ” around 2 am in the morning , and YES I witnessed the entire rescue operation . So don’t try to tell me what should and should not have been done after the lady reported her husband missing . And YES if it was a WHITE PERSON the situation would have been handled much differently.

    1. You are trying to pretend like you are an expert on search and rescue…the big difference between the US and Bim is that the Coast Guard is close to that open area where Fernandez’ boat crashed. In Bim you have to mobilize the small Coast Guard with their couple boats…then they have to make that trip around the island which will probably take 5-6 hours…if you call the police they will show up in their vehicles and I can guarantee you that none of them are getting into that water at that time of the nite…have you ever seen boats come up close to those rocks? have you ever seen anyone swimming next to those rocks…there comes a time you have to weight the risk versus reward…was it a risk worth taking…do you put a boat and it’s crew in danger during the pitch dark? you see I can ask all these questions because I have been in the Armed services for 27 yrs now…and I know something about search and rescue…so bring your weak argument to someone who doesn’t know what they talking about…btw…did they not call off the search for the kid who jumped/fell off the boat in the harbor during cropover…that was an easier area to conduct an all nite search…

  6. at that time of the morning, can some one please tell me what the Police or some other entity can do? NOTHING. I don’t think this has ANYTHING to do with Racism; BUT racism has raised its ugly head once again through out the world and Barbados is no different. You can rest assure things will be different this time around.

  8. You are in total denial Jade Maloney there is a huge black and white issue on the island of Barbados . Denying that there is a problem does not mean that it doesn’t exist . . . . you are already ” kissing butt ” by saying that there is not a racial problem on the island.

  9. What is wrong with you people with this black and white issue, no wonder we cannot get away from this racism issue, if u ever visit Crane/foul bay in the day, you would not talk shire, it us not like u walking on a side walk and not like bathing st Miami beach. So stop with the racism I lived in North America for almost 50 years before moving back here and when I am speaking to a white person I do not see color, but that don’t mean I will let them walk over me or kiss they butt , I will cuss them like I cuss my own. STOP THE BLACK/WHITE.

    1. This is truly a silly post…that late during the nite what was anyone supposed to do…get the Coast Guard to bring their boats close to the rocks to endanger the lives of all aboard…get people to go swimming in the ocean to look for a body…tell the electric company to bring generators or huge spotlights to scan for a body in the ocean…sometimes common sense is not so common…

        I guess you’ve never lived anywhere other than small island Barbados. Or even read about emergency response in other countries on this plane, I suppose.

        Other countries do perform search and rescue operations all the time under such, and other difficult conditions.

        Wow!!!!

      What a stupid comment “when I am speaking to a white person I do not see color,”. Do you not have your eyesight? If so, then surely you noticed the person’s complexion. It is such a stupid statement. We all see color, as long as our eyes are functioning.

      You living for 50 years in North America has nothing to do with anything. Again, good for you.What you meant to say is color is not an issue with you…Great for you but you are absolutely wrong about racism in Barbados. It’s alive and well and never left.
